Passengers (2016) Review

Passengers it the space travel Sci-Fi thriller. The trailer of the film is exciting without giving too much away. It is well presented and the cast is strong with the very recognizable stars Jennifer Lawrence who starred in The Hunger Games and Laurence Fishburne who starred in The Matrix.

Avatar: The Last Airbender 2005 (Animated Series)

While the 2010 movie The Last Airbender had very little success with the critics and audiences, tracing its roots leads to the original animated series titled Avatar: The Last Airbender which is nothing less than a masterpiece in animation and creative storytelling. Set in an alternate universe the world is divided into four nations each having the ability to control one of the four elements Fire, Air, Water and Earth. The Fire nation believes its element is superior and sets out to conquer the rest. The only person that could stand in its way is the Avatar, an individual who can command all four elements. But the Avatar has disappeared and has not been seen for a 100 years.

Terminator Salvation (2009) Review

This is the fourth part in the science fiction series The Terminator which depicts ongoing war between humans and machines. This fourth part is set in 2018 and follows on from the third part which ended with the artificial intelligence network Skynet becoming self-aware and taking over human computer systems.

The Kite Runner (2007) Review

Based on Khaled Hosseinis 2003 novel of the same name this is a touching story about two friends who are the best team at kite fighting in Kabul, Afghanistan. However tensions develop between them and cause them to eventually split, until much later when one of them decides to return to Kabul to find his friends son.

Magnolia (1999) Review

Magnolia written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson seems to have gained a lot of attention and won Tom Cruise the award for Best Supporting Actor at Academy Awards and Golden Globes. However is it really worth the hype?
