Avatar (2009) Review

If Disney's Tarzan were made in modern times it would be Avatar. Its director James Cameron has put in a lot of creativity into this film and designed a world you would want to go to.

Terminator Salvation (2009) Review

This is the fourth part in the science fiction series The Terminator which depicts ongoing war between humans and machines. This fourth part is set in 2018 and follows on from the third part which ended with the artificial intelligence network Skynet becoming self-aware and taking over human computer systems.

The Kite Runner (2007) Review

Based on Khaled Hosseinis 2003 novel of the same name this is a touching story about two friends who are the best team at kite fighting in Kabul, Afghanistan. However tensions develop between them and cause them to eventually split, until much later when one of them decides to return to Kabul to find his friends son.

Innocent Voices (2004) Review

Directed by Luis Madoki this movie is based on a true story detailing events in the life of a 11 year old boy during civil war that gripped El Salvador in the 80s.

There Will Be Blood (2007) Review

A simply fascinating movie. Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and featuring Daniel Day-Lewis as an American "Oil man" this film grips the viewer in suspense and a tightly woven emotional drama right until the very end.

Malena (2000) Review

This movie is in my must watch list. It is an Italian movie directed by Giuseppe Tornatore. The drama set in 1940 during World War II just as Italy enters the war.
